1) White Frog, starring Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey and Glee's Harry Shum, Jr., will be released in select theaters on May 10, it was announced last week. The film tells the story of Nick (Twilight's Booboo Stewart), a high school student with Asperger's Syndrome, and explores Nick's relationship with his brother, Chaz (Shum, Jr.), who is revealed to be gay in the film. 2) Screen Media and Focus World plan to release the Sundance Film Festival Pick C.O.G. in theaters and digital platforms sometime this year. Written and directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez, C.O.G. is based on the autobiographical short story by David Sedaris, which follows a young man (played by Glee's Jonathan Groff), who goes to work on an apple farm after graduating from Yale in order to become more in tune with the 'real world.' Watch Alvarez's "Meet the Artist" profile below where he discusses the film and the journey to get it made.

3) Out Emmy Award-Winning standup comedian Wanda Sykes's "Push It Productions" just landed a first-look deal with NBC for an unscripted series. Sykes says, "We are very lucky to be working with Universal."

4) Fans of ABC's comedy, Don't Trust The B in Apartment 23, will finally get to see the unaired final episodes after all. Series star Krysten Ritter announced via Twitter that ABC will stream the final eight unaired episodes starting May 17 on ABC.com, iTunes, and Hulu. "8 episodes of genius B---- hilarity! Can't wait for you all to see them. I love you." Ritter, who plays Chloe in the show, wrote.

5) Sunday's season premiere of TLC's My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding will feature a series first – a gay Gypsy wedding. 6) GLAAD Vito Russo honorees and out producing team Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will produce next year's Oscars, according to TV by the Numbers. “In order to establish continuity with this year’s enormously successful show, we felt it was important to give these consummate professionals the green light now to begin creating another great evening.” said Academy President Hawk Koch.

7) Love is in the air on Glee! Recently out actress Meredith Baxter and Oscar winner Patty Duke have been cast in the musical comedy's season 4 finale and will recur in the next season according to E! Online. 8) There are 14 days left of the Out in the Night Kickstarter campaign, which has raised $11,788 of its $23,700 goal. Out in the Night is a social justice oriented documentary film which examines how the intersections of race, class and gender are inextricably linked to the case of The New Jersey 4, a group of African-American lesbians from New Jersey who were convicted of assault after getting into an altercation with a man who cat-called one of the women.  The documentary, which has been in production for over four years, was directed and produced by Blair Doroshwalther, who took an interest in the case after witnessing the media's obvious bias against the group of four. Check out the trailer below and learn more at the Kickstarter page.
