The return of iconic daytime soap opera All My Children is set to premiere tonight on iTunes and Hulu with all new half-hour web-episodes. The cast and fans alike are thrilled with the 41-year-old soap's unexpected resurrection, after the show was canceled in 2011.
Among the characters returning is Bianca Montgomery, Erica Kane's out lesbian daughter, (once again played by actress Eden Riegel), whose coming out in 2000 was a watershed moment for LGBT visibility on daytime television.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Riegel comments on how she feels about her character's return to All My Children:
"It’s really tons of fun and a little bit surreal because I’ve had such a history with the show and it was such a huge part of my life."

Riegel will now play the mother of 16-year-old Miranda Montgomery, played by Denyse Tontz. Fans are eager to find out the state of Bianca's current love life when the show premieres, although no official comments have been made by the actress or the show.
