Though media coverage of LGBT people and issues has overall significantly improved in the last few decades, we have a long way to go before the media really represents the whole community accurately and respectfully, in particular LGBT people of color and transgender people.
On the eve of momentous United States Supreme Court decisions, the San Diego Press Club will be hosting its first-ever panel discussion addressing the media coverage on LGBT people and issues affecting them. GLAAD's own Director of Spanish-Language Media Monica Trasandes is a featured panelist.
