The GLAAD Wrap: Before You Know It premieres in New York; Necar Zadegan to appear on The Fosters; Andersoon Cooper gets his own comic book

Each week The GLAAD Wrap brings you LGBT-related entertainment news highlights, fresh stuff to watch out for, and fun diversions to help you kick off the weekend.

1) There are an estimated 2.4 million lesbian, gay and bisexual Americans over the age of 55 in the United States, and their stories are seldom told in the media.  Fortunately, filmmaker PJ Raval decided to turn his camera on several older gay and lesbian folks who are still actively making a difference for our community.  Before You Know Itopens at the Lincoln Center in New York City this weekend, and is expected to expand to other cities around the country over the coming months. Check out the trailer below.

2) Named best gay bar in 2012 by New York magazine, the well-known Flaming Saddles Saloon in Hell's Kitchen has been selected for its own reality TV show! Produced by The Traveling Picture Show and former Saturday Night Live writer Margaret Oberman, the show will capture what it's like to manage the famous saloon through the eyes of owners Jacqui Squatriglia and Chris Barnes.

3) ABC Family's The Fosters will add a little more drama when Lena's ex-girlfriend makes a guest appearance in the family's lives. Gretchen, a worldly and wealthy traveler, will be played by Necar Zadegan, seen on 24 and The Event. Tune in and keep an eye out for Gretchen during The Fosters on Monday nights at 9 pm ET/PT on ABC Family.

4) In honor of Pride Month, PBS' Channel THIRTEEN will be screening Stonewall Uprising on June 24. The screening will take place on new online social viewing platform OVEE, which will allow viewers to interact with each other, filmmakers, and panelists who may provide commentary and answer questions as the film progresses.

5) Pet Shop Boys, the electronic pop duo comprised of Chris Lowe and out musician Neil Tennant, have unveiled their new music video for their single "Vocal," endorsed by the world's top voted DJ, Armin Van Buuren.  Check out the video below.

6) Music streaming service Rdio is rolling out their "The Year in Queer" playlist, featuring artists who have made strides for the LGBT community through their music. Some of the artists include GLAAD Media Award honoree Adam Lambert, recently out musicians Frank Ocean and Jenny Owen Youngs, Against Me!'s out trans frontwoman Laura Jane Grace, and fun., founders of The Ally Coalition. 7) Out journalist and GLAAD Media Award honoree Anderson Cooper is brought to life in literary form—he now has his own comic book!“Anderson Cooper the man is easily as fascinating as the stories he reports," comic book author Michael Troy said. "I was honored to bring his story to life." Cooper is joining Bluewater's "Political Power" series, alongside political figures like Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama.

8) LGBT cinema expert and filmmaker Jenni Olson needs your help to fund her latest film, The Royal Road. Scenes of picturesque California landscapes accompany intense voiceovers that detail the history of the Mexican-American War and tell a compelling story of butch lesbian desire.
