The GLAAD Wrap: Breaking The Girls Opens; Future of Glee Revealed; Beth Ditto Weds

Every week, The GLAAD Wrap brings you LGBT-related entertainment news highlights, fresh stuff to watch out for, and fun diversions to help you kick off the weekend.

1) From IFC Films and director Jamie Babbit, best known for But I'm a Cheerleader, comes Breaking The Girls, a riveting story about two girls who meet at a bar and commit to murdering each other's respective enemy. As their intentions to kill become more and more real, Sara (Agnes Bruckner) and Alex (Madeline Zima) become entangled in danger—and each other. The film, written by Guinevere Turner and Mark Distefano, opens in select theaters on July 26. Check out the trailer below.

2) Supernatural fans, rejoice! TV Guide has announced that Felicia Day will be returning as out lesbian hacker Charlie Bradbury in the fourth episode of Supernatural's 9th season. "I'm thrilled to be back," Day said. "I think it's always amazing when you have a gift of a character that you want to play all the time." Tune into CW for the new season premiere of Supernatural on Tuesday, October 15 at 9/8c.

3) In the wake of Cory Monteith's passing, Glee creator Ryan Murphy has shared news of where Glee is headed with the premiere of its fifth season which has been pushed to September 26. According to Murphy, the first two episodes will be Beatles' tributes that have been in the works for years, and episode three will act as a memorial, not only for Cory but for his character Finn as well. After that episode, Glee will take an indefinite hiatus to decide how to best continue the series.

4) Husbands is coming to CW Seed this August with guest stars like Seth Green and Michael Hogan. MTV Geek has new promotional photos from season three, when the boys learn more about each other and themselves. Watch the trailer below.

5) Beth Ditto, frontwoman of indie rock band The Gossip, is a newlywed! Best friends since the age of 18, the singer tied the knot with her girlfriend, Kristen Ogata, in Maui, Hawaii, and has shared photos from the ceremony on The Gossip's Facebook page. Congrats, Beth!

6) American masculinity is explored in Miss Representation director Jennifer Siebel Newsom's new film The Mask You Live In. The film addresses "The Boy Crisis," a growing problem that discourages boys from showing emotions at a young age and instead puts insurmountable pressure on them to constantly prove their masculinity. Men of all ages are interviewed, describing the anxiety, anger and pain they feel having to suppress their feelings to make themselves fit in.
