The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is being cited by the White House as an example of the government's work towards equality for LGBT people in the country, and an infographic is provided to explain how.
On the White House's blog, "Obamacare" is listed among the accomplishments for the LGBT community, alongside of the repeals of the Defense of Marriage Act and Don't Ask Don't tell, that have occurred during the president's time in office.
