Every week, The GLAAD Wrap brings you LGBT-related entertainment news highlights, fresh stuff to watch out for, and fun diversions to help you kick off the weekend.
1) Stranger by the Lake, a French film by director Alain Guiraudie, premieres in New York January 24, and in Los Angeles January 31. The film is a thriller about a gay man's attraction to another man he suspects is a murderer. You can watch the trailer below!
2) The Skeleton Twins, a drama by out director Craig Johnson, has been picked up by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions for $3.5 million. Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig, play long-estranged twins recently reunited following near death experiences, with Hader's character also a gay man questioning the direction of his life. Johnson says he loves casting comedic actors in dramatic roles because it gives them a more human angle. Watch for The Skeleton Twins coming to theaters near you, and watch Johnson speak about the film below!
3) NBC's Hannibal (from gay creator Bryan Fuller) will add a new lesbian character to the cast (going by the book the show is loosely based on), with Katharine Isabelle joining the show for season two as Margot Verger. Hannibal is scheduled to return Friday, February 28 on NBC. Watch the trailer for season two below!

John Ritter's son Tyler Ritter has been set as the new lead of the previously announced CBS comedy The McCarthys, which is currently being retooled as a possible multi-camera sitcom for the net. Ritter plays the only gay son in a large, raucous Boston family, who take offense to the fact that he wants to spend less time with them.
5) British comedyVicious is set to premiere on PBS on July 6 at 10:30 p.m. The show follows the often tempestuous relationship between two older gay men, played by out actors Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi. You can watch a short clip of the show below!
6) Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls released her new country solo album Goodnight Tender digitally this week, with the album hitting store shelves next Tuesday, January 28. Ray has previously released solo work, although this is her first attempt at a country sound. Check out the album trailer below. Goodnight Tender is available now on iTunes.

The San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus will celebrate the life of Tyler Clementi through a series of songs called "Tyler's Suite." Honoring the college musician whose suicide in 2010 brought attention to LGBT youth issues, the piece for Tyler will also be performed by choruses in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, San Diego, Dallas, and Seattle.

Out musician George Michael returned to twitter Monday after almost a year away, announcing a new live album called Symphonica due for release in March. You can pre-order the album on iTunes here.
9) Lesbian country singer Brandy Clark is teaming up with Jennifer Nettles this year for "That Girl Tour 2014." You can find out where she'll be - and buy tickets - on Ticketmaster.
10) Becoming More Visible needs your help. This important projects documents the lives of trans homeless teens in New York City, asking "Who is responsible? The kids, or society?" Photographer Josh Lehrer will tell the stories of five homeless transgender teens "rejected by their families and lured to New York City with the hope of finding connection and love."
