The iconic New York Stock Exchange shone in purple for #SpiritDay on Friday, joining millions in a united stand against bullying and in a display of support for LGBT youth.
From Wall Street to the White House, America was draped in purple yesterday, helping to share messages of support with countless young people across the globe.
The Stock Exchange joined other Spirit Day participants including every major American professional sports league, the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign and Vegas strip, MTV, and celebrities including Ricky Martin, Reba McEntire and even Honey Boo Boo. Check out other #SpiritDay participants now!
Millions of people also went purple online, including tech companies like Facebook, Tumblr, Hulu and SumbleUpon. #SpiritDay was trending on Twitter throughout the day on Friday.
