Following his coming out as gay in the newest issue of Rolling Stone, Tyler Glenn, lead singer of the Utah New Wave pop band Neon Trees, has released a long form statement on the band's Facebook page. Glenn was inspired to come out while writing songs for Neon Trees' new album, saying that "for me [coming out] is about finding the purist of peace. The absolute settling of my soul. The clearest vision of the road I want to take." His statement already has been met with thousands of likes and shares as well as many supportive comments.
