This past weekend, GLAAD staff and board members were in Chicago, where the 2nd annual Trans 100 live event were held. GLAAD was an official sponsor of the Trans 100 and is continuing to provide support through media outreach in preparation of the full list being released on Wednesday, April 2.
GLAAD Senior Media Strategist Tiq Milan was named to the Trans 100 list this year. He also addressed the live event and presented a section of the list on stage.
From the reaction on Twitter, his comments were well received.
