The 2014 U.S. Trans 100 list, which celebrates the breadth and diversity of work being done in, by and for the transgender community, is now available as a PDF file with the names, photos, and bios for this year's honorees. Letters from Trans 100 Director Jen Richards and Co-Director Asher Kolieboi introduce the list, and a tribute to Gloria Allen, named as the 2014 Living Legend of the Trans 100 and celebrated with remarks from Janet Mock, concludes the list.

GLAAD is a sponsor of the Trans 100 list, which was first announced at a live event Chicago. The Trans 100 list began in 2013 as an idea by This Is H.O.W. Executive Director Antonia D’orsay, then developed in partnership with Jen Richards of We Happy Trans.

GLAAD's Senior Media Strategist Tiq Milan is among the many advocates named to this important list that intends to shift the coverage of transgender issues by focusing on the positive work being accomplished, and providing visibility to those typically underrepresented. Tiq also spoke at the Trans 100 live event, along with GLAAD board member Christina Kahrl.
