GLAAD's trans work was spotlighted last night at the 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles, held at the Beverly Hilton. Actress, writer, and producer Laverne Cox received GLAAD's Stephen F. Kolzak Award and was surprised by her mom Gloria. Supermodel Naomi Campbell spoke out in support of Carmen Carrera and the inclusion of trans models on runways and the recent Barney's print ad campaign featuring trans models and stories.
