Petition for teen couple banned from prom because one of them is transgender

Anais Celini and boyfriend Nathaniel Baez have recently been banned from their prom, at Martin Luther King High School, because Nathaniel is transgender.

The school called his transition "unconventional" and "not beneficial." And while the couple is resigned to not going, and Nathaniel is planning a private prom for his girlfriend, Stina Monique has created a petition on Change.org asking the high school to allow Nathaniel and Anais to prom.
