May marks Foster Care Awareness Month and FosterMore, a coalition of non-profit organizations seeking to increase awareness of the challenges faced by youth in the foster care system, has partnered with Disney | ABC to launch a Public Service Announcement Campaign to encourage viewers to support foster youth.

Take a look at the “I am Amazing” PSA below:

Last summer, Disney | ABC put foster youth front and center when ABC Family premiered the hit drama The Fosters, about a family of biological, adopted, and foster children who happen to be raised by two moms. In the series, police officer Stef (Teri Polo) and her wife, school Vice Principal Lena (Sherri Saum), raise their diverse family, including Stef’s biological son from her previous marriage, the two children Lena and Stef have adopted together, and the two foster children they want to adopt. Recently, the series also introduced transgender teen Cole as one of the kids staying at a group home. This diverse portrayal of a family earned the drama a GLAAD Media Award last month.

“Each of the 400,000 youth in foster care today represents potential and a future yet to be realized,” said David Ambroz, Director, Corporate Citizenship and Social Responsibility at Disney/ABC Television Group. “We are proud to support this effort to encourage opportunities to help these young people succeed."

Good Morning America featured the campaign earlier this week:
