As part of Pride month and its Characters Unite campaign, USA Network will air Philadelphia. The GLAAD Media Award-winning film will be introduced by President Bill Clinton.
Philadelphia marks the sixth film in the Characters Unite film series, which launched in April 2012 with To Kill a Mockingbird, then introduced by President Barack Obama. Other films that have been featured as part of the series are The Color Purple, Milk, In the Heat of the Night and Schindler's List. The Characters Unite film series aims to spotlight powerful stories that promote tolerance and acceptance.
