The Guardian UK has published the annual World Pride Power List honoring the achievements of 100 influential lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people around the world.

Included in the list with icons like Laverne Cox, Ellen Degeneres, Elton John, and Sir Ian McKellen, are GLAAD's National Spokesperson and Director of Annual Giving, Omar Sharif, Jr. (#80); GLAAD's CEO and President, Sarah Kate Ellis (#20); and Anthony Watson, a member of GLAAD's board of directors and Chief Information Officer of NIKE, Inc. Anthony comes in at #10 on the list.

Like Laverne, the lists includes numerous organizational leaders and media figures with whom GLAAD continues to work, like George Takei and Chaz Bono.

Theguardian.com describes Watson, saying:

Watson is one of the most influential gay men in the world. In February, he departed Barclays to join Nike as its chief information officer. He sits on the board of directors of Digital Globe Services and Glaad (the world's largest LGBT media advocacy organisation). He's also a patron of Diversity Role Models. A champion for diversity inside and outside of the City, he visits schools offering guidance on challenging homophobic bullying.

Omar, who was voted one of the most compelling people of the year by Out magazine in 2013, was named on the World Pride Power List of 2013, as well.

You can view the rest of World Pride Power List 2014's top ten here. The complete list can be found at www.worldpridepowerlist.com. Additionally, the full list will be published in The Guardian, in an exclusive supplement today.
