VIDEO: Apple employees celebrate their unwavering commitment to equality and diversity at San Francisco Pride

Over the years, Apple employees have expressed full support for the LGBT community many times over. They have done their part and more to stress the need for equality in many different ways. Their presence at this year's San Francisco Pride Parade proved that Apple's dedication to the cause has reached even greater heights.

On Monday, the multi-national corporation released a 2-minute YouTube video that followed their preparation for the event. The company then showed up in force as 5,000 proud Apple employees were present at the parade. The description of the video, titled 'Pride,' says the following:

On June 29, thousands of Apple employees and their families marched in the San Francisco Pride Parade. They came from around the world  from cities as far as Munich, Paris, and Hong Kong — to celebrate Apple's unwavering commitment to equality and diversity. Because we believe that inclusion inspires innovation.

This was the first year that Apple officially sanctioned a group to march in the San Francisco parade, and even Executive Chief Tim Cook made an appearance. He can be spotted in the video taking a selfie with an employee! Here is a photo of Cook at the pre-parade events (left):
