Meredith and Cristina continue to try to cope with life after the plane crash and their changing responsibilities at their respective hospitals. Meredith balances taking care of Zola with a case that hits too close to home and Cristina works with Dr. Thomas one of her most challenging heart surgeries to date.

Auditions for the school production of Grease are underway and Kitty, Marley, Jacob and newcomer Ryder (The Glee Project winner Blake Jenner) are competing for the lead roles as Danny and Sandy.
