A published children's book author, the youngest recipient of the Colin Higgins Youth Courage Award in New York City, a guest interviewee on 20/20 with Barbara Walters, an honorary co-founder of the Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation, the youngest person to be recognized in The Advocate's "Top Forty Under 40," a catalyst for a trans-inclusive policy by the United States Soccer Federation, and the subject of the Oprah Winfrey Network documentary, "I Am Jazz," transgender teen, Jazz, has racked up enough success by the mere age of 13 to fill a lifetime's quota.
Jazz has recently taken to YouTube with her latest project – vlogging. About this project, her mother, Jeanette, said to GLAAD, "I swear the child's mind doesn't stop churning." Under the username, Jazz Mergirl, Jazz has already recorded a Q&A, a "letter to the world," and other videos. We can't wait to see what Jazz comes up with next!
