VIDEO: US inaugural poet writes moving poem for marriage equality

Well, now I'm crying.

Richard Bianco, the first out inaugural poet who read at Barack Obama's inauguration in 2012, wrote the new poem "Until We Could" for Freedom To Marry, to celebrate a decade since Massachusetts became the first state to legalize same-sex marriage.

The moving poem is supported by a video, released yesterday, by House of Cards star Robin Wright and X-Men actor Ben Foster.

The video was Peter Spears' idea, an actor and director, who also volunteers with Freedom To Marry.

"We shot it in Austin's film community, and Texas is on the precipice of marriage equality," Spears told the Daily Beast.

There are real couples in the film, including the male couple in their forties with kids, and there are actors.

"It was a cause I believed in and wanted to be part of. As the first openly gay inaugural poet, it felt very inspirational," Bianco said.

The poetry, the music, the scenes--basically everything--made me cry. Take a look:
