What to Watch: Thursday, October 2

8:00pm: Grey's Anatomy, ABC (1 hr) NEW

Maggie runs into trouble as she tries to befriend people at the hospital and Richard is hesitant to disclose his secret to everyone. Meanwhile, the doctors help a dying woman whose daughter refuses to let her go.

8:00pm: The Vampire Diaries, CW (1 hr) SEASON PREMIERE

Caroline is desperate to reverse the anti-magic spell over Mystic Falls, Matt worries that Jeremy is self-destructing, Elena learns the truth about Stefan and Alaric adjusts to his new life as a vampire.

8:00pm: The Biggest Loser, NBC (1 hr) NEW

A lottery challenge takes place and the contestants try to keep to their goals without their trainers helping. This season's cast features out trainer Bob Harper.

9:00pm: Scandal, ABC (1 hr) NEW

Cyrus reaches out to an expert couple to help Fitz talk about gun control during his State of the Union address. Elsewhere, Mellie deals with the nation's attention as she works through her private grief.

10:00pm: How to Get Away with Murder, ABC (1 hr) NEW

Annalise defends a millionaire accused of murdering his wife and she begins to question her own home life. A flash forward reveals that Wes could be hiding secrets from the night of the murder.

This morning and afternoon, check your local listings for information about EllenThe Talk (CBS), The Gossip Table (VH1), The View (ABC) and The Chew (ABC). Soap operas Days of Our Lives on NBC and General Hospital on ABC (check local listings for time) both feature out characters.
