1) Vimeo on Demand has released six new LGBT-inclusive titles as part of a new partnership with Breaking Glass Pictures and QC Cinema including Out in the Dark, Edie & Thea and more. There is a little bit of everything in this round of releases with films featuring star crossed lovers, reconciling identity and religion and a wild weekend reunion. 2) Melissa Etheridge's first ever independent album, This is M.E., was released this week. The album is available for purchase on iTunes now. Etheridge sat down for an in depth talk with AfterEllen about going the independent route, artistic freedom and collaboration, and how her life has changed in last 20 years. 3) The new video to accompany HollySiz's song "The Light" tells the story of a gender non-conforming child and their father's journey to acceptance. The track appears on HollySiz's upcoming "In Between Lines" edition of her album My Name Is, which will hit stores October 13. Check out "The Light" below.
4) Bent-con, the LGBT pop culture and geekdom convention, is raising money for the fifth annual convention to be held November 7-9, 2014 in Burbank, California.
