1) NBC's Hollywood Game Night has been renewed for a third season! Show host Jane Lynch took home the Emmy for Outstanding Host for her work on the series this year. The popular show even spawned a spinoff home party game.
2) Mary Lambert's debut full length album Heart on My Sleeve doesn't hit shelves until October 14, but the full album is available for streaming now in iTunes First Play! Lambert first gained attention singing the chorus she wrote for Macklemore's "Same Love" and she went on to release a full track extension, "She Keeps Me Warm." Watch lead single "Secrets" below.
3) Out musicians Sam Smith and Elton John were two of the 27 musicians who celebrated the launch of BBC Music this week. The two were part of a music video covering The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows" with an 80-piece orchestra and other musicians including One Direction, Kylie Minogue and more. Check out the video below.
4) Michelle Chamuel, best known as the runner-up on season four of The Voice, has released the title track from her upcoming solo album Face the Fire. Chamuel will be touring for the album starting in November. Find a show near you now and check out "Face the Fire" below.
5) The Fort Lauderdale Gay and Lesbian Film festival kicks off this weekend and picks back up next Thursday. There will be over 30 films screening, including Sundance-premiered Appropriate Behavior and 52 Tuesdays. Check out a full program list and get your tickets now.
6) The creative team behind the film Welcome, Sinners is seeking funding to finish the film. The film follows a married man who falls for a stranger who buys him a beer one night.
