Out anchor Robin Roberts hosts the ABC special The Year: 2014 looking back at some of the biggest stories and public figures of the year. The Year: 2014: Tuesday, 9pm on ABC.
Vicious, the UK comedy which airs on PBS in the US, will return for a special holiday episode on Thursday. Couple Freddie and Stuart host their annual holiday party which this year finds the gang playing a game of truth or dare, Violet up to her usual shenanigans and Ash cooking the meal. Vicious: Thursday, 9:20pm on PBS.
On December 27, OWN will premiere a 90-minute documentary on Michael Sam, the first out gay football player to be drafted into the NFL. This takes the place of the previously announced docu-series and will cover the NFL draft, Sam's work after being signed to the St. Louis Rams and the media interest around him. Immediately after the special, Sam will speak with Oprah in his first interview since being cut from the NFL on a special episode of Oprah Prime. Michael Sam and Oprah Prime: Saturday, starting at 9pm on OWN.
