Coca-Cola’s 2015 Super Bowl ad campaign, #MakeItHappy, targets online hate and includes special extended highlight videos released this week from four stars dedicated to spreading happiness online, including out football player Michael Sam. Check out Sam talking about how he uses social media for good below, including tweeting in support of LGBT youth as part of GLAAD’s #SpiritDay.
"Coca-Cola has always stood for optimism, uplift and inclusion… and these core values have been a common thread in our advertising through the years," said Andy McMillin, Vice President and General Manager for Coca-Cola Trademark Brands.
Coca-Cola made history last year with the first Super Bowl commercial to feature a gay family. Share how you spread happiness online with the hashtag #MakeItHappy on Twitter!
Stand up not only for yourself, but others too. Never be afraid to be who you are #GoPurple#SpiritDay
