Angelenos, clear your schedules because tonight marks the opening film night of the second annual Latin@ Queer Arts and Film Festival! The festival will open with Cuatro Lunas (Four Moons) a film by Mexican director Sergio Tovar Velarde that tells four different stories that explore notions of self-acceptance, intimacy, and desire across different age ranges and interpersonal bonds.
The Latin@ Queer Arts and Film Festival showcases the stories of trans, queer, and two-spirited Latin@s through film, music, and the visual arts in the LA region. The festival will continue on Saturday with a series of short films and will conclude on Sunday with the closing film, Vestido de Novia. Tonight's festivities begin at 7:00pm at the LA Gay and Lesbian Center in Hollywood. Tickets can be purchased at LQAFF.com
