George Constantinou and Farid Ali-Lancheros were two of the many couples who shared their stories at an April 27 rally in New York City, and their message, in both English and Spanish, was beautiful—as are their kids, who, as you can see in this video, stole the show.
George and Farid, whose families come from the United States, Palestine, Colombia and Costa Rica, count on the support of their relatives, but they know that many lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people still fight family rejection.
Thanks to the many advocates, like them sharing their stories all around the country this week, in both English and Spanish language media, we think that rejection will soon be diminished, replaced by much-welcomed and needed acceptance.
