Francisca Valenzuela, a well-known Chilean pop singer, has released a song and video to send a powerful message of support to LGBT youth. The artist worked with the non-profit Todo Mejora Foundation (It Gets Better) which seeks to combat one of the highest rate of youth suicide in the region. The video dramatizes the relationship of two young women, one of whom at first gives in to societal pressures and refuses to acknowledge their relationship in front of others. Valenzuela is popular among Chileans and internationally. She is known as the princess of Chilean rock and the video has already garnered much attention in social media.
