The 69th Annual Tony Awards air live on Sunday on CBS, hosted by Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth! Fun Home, a musical based on lesbian cartoonist Alison Bechdel's autobiographic graphic novel of the same name, scored 12 total nominations including Best Musical. ABC Family's hit drama The Fosters returns for a third season on Monday night! The family deal with the aftermath of the car crash involving Mariana, Jesus and Ana, and Stef is more determined than ever to find the driver responsible for the crash. Meanwhile, Jude asks Connor to keep their relationship a secret at school, Brandon starts at Idyllwild, and Callie meets a teenage runaway searching for his brother at the drop in center where she volunteers. The new ABC Family docuseries Becoming Us premieres Monday. The series centers on Ben, a Midwestern teenager who learns that his parents are getting divorced at the same time he learns that his father will be transitioning. In the series premiere: Ben's parents, Suzy and Carly, are concerned when they learn that Ben is struggling in school; Ben introduces Carly to his girlfriend's parent who is also trans; and Ben's sister returns home to plan her upcoming wedding. Becoming Us: Monday, 9pm on ABC Family.
In Major Crimes' season four opener, the squad is investigating a double murder linked to a series of home invasions in the Hollywood Hills. Meanwhile, Raydor makes a big decision about Rusty's future and Sanchez tries to rejoin the team after his suspension. Major Crimes: Monday, 9pm on TNT.
CBS' The Briefcase this week features a lesbian couple, Tanya and Leila Bailey-Stewart. Each episode sees two families who are struggling financially being given a briefcase with $101,000 and 72 hours to get to know the other family before deciding how much (if any) of the money they will give to them and what they'll keep for themselves without knowing that the other family also received the same briefcase and instructions. Tanya and Leila took in Leila's two nephews three years ago and this money could make it possible for the couple to finally realize their dream of having their own child.The Briefcase: Wednesday, 8pm on CBS.
Out actor and comedian Alec Mapa's Kickstarter-funded comedy special concert Alec Mapa: Baby Daddy premieres on Friday. Baby Daddy focuses on Mapa and his husband's journey to become parents, aging in the gay community, how parenthood has affected their sex lives, and how adopting a five-year-old changed their lives.
