This holiday, many were saddened to learn of the death of Hollywood photographer Brian Putnam, who passed away just over a week ago.
Brian was a familiar and very friendly presence at LGBT events in Los Angeles, who was often on a first name basis with those he photographed on countless red carpets. More than that, he was also a staunch advocate of the LGBT movement who was more than willing to volunteer his services to events and causes he wanted to help support.
Brian worked with many of us here at GLAAD on dozens of occasions. He graciously donated his time and talent to capture many of our events and we remain thankful to him for his work, his passion, and his commitment.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to all his family and friends. Brian will be missed.
