Congratulations are in order for NBC News' Jenna Wolfe and Stephanie Gosk. The couple announced in a blog post and on Today that they have been dating for three years and are expecting a child. Wolfe is a weekend anchor on Today, Gosk is a foreign correspondent for NBC News.
In an interview with People, the couple talked about their decision to come out publicly before their daughter's birth. “This is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to us,” Wolfe told the publication. “But I don’t want to bring my daughter into a world where I’m not comfortable telling everyone who I am and who her mother is.”
“The beauty is that we live in a time where there’s no need for secrecy,” added Gosk. “This is a spectacular moment for us.”
Wolfe wrote of their decision to have a baby on Today.com. She will be blogging throughout her pregnancy.
