Gracing the first issue's cover will be stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Andy Cohen. In the issue, themed on "friendship," Parker and Cohen discuss their longterm friendship. The first issue will also cover the friendships of Calvin Trillin and Larry Kramer, and Thom Browne and Andrew Bolton, as well as articles by Salman Rushdie, Michael Cunningham, and Amy Siskind, new poems by National Book Award winner, Mark Doty, photographers Ruven Afanador, Christian Witkin and Torkil Gudnason, and more.
The magazine's executive staff includes Editor in Chief Kevin Sessums, a former contributing editor for Vantiy Fair and Executive Editor at Interview Magazine, and publisher Richard Klein, founder and former publisher of Surface magazine.
FourTwoNine is currently offering a subscription to 5 issues per year (plus a special collector’s issue) at 50% off newsstand prices at it's Kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dot429/429-magazine
