The newest issue in the Kevin Keller series, Drive Me Crazy, hits shelves tomorrow with an introduction by George Takei and a cover touting the series Outstanding Comic Book honor at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco. Check out series author Dan Parent accepting the award below.

Keller, the first out gay character in the Archie universe, was introduced in the Veronica series in September 2010, had a miniseries during summer 2011, and became the central figure in his own ongoing series in February 2012. This April, Keller's story expanded in a new hardcover young adult novel, Kevin, which looks at his middle-school years as a military kid, facing prom at his new school, a female friend who is interested in him and a boy he is interested in who ignores him. Keller can also be seen in Archie's crossover series Archie Meets Glee, illustrated by Parent and written by Glee writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Recently Archie joined the It Gets Better Project for Kevin Keller Day.

For a limited time, Archie Comics is offering a GLAAD Media Award Kevin Keller Collection which includes the Kevin Keller hardcover graphic novel, Kevin Keller: Welcome to Riverdale graphic novel, four issue Kevin Keller mini-series with special collector covers, Veronica issue 202 ("Introducing Kevin Keller"), the first six issues of the Kevin Keller comic and a one year subscription to the Kevin Keller comic.
