HBO released the trailer for Ryan Murphy's highly anticipated movie adaptation of Larry Kramer's play The Normal Heart this morning. The story focuses on the early days of the AIDS crisis in New York City and the young activists working to spur the medical and political establishment into action.The Normal Heart features a star-studded cast including Mark Ruffalo, Matt Bomer, Jim Parsons, Jonathan Groff, Taylor Kitsch and Julia Roberts and is set to premiere on HBO May 25; in the same month the network will debut documentary film Larry Kramer about Kramer's work as an LGBT advocate and co-founder of AIDS advocacy group ACT UP.
