Every week, The GLAAD Wrap brings you LGBT-related entertainment news highlights, fresh stuff to watch out for, and fun diversions to help you kick off the weekend.
1. HBO films presents the the documentary The Case Against 8 in select theaters this weekend, before it airs on the premium channel later this month. 8 is an inside look at the Supreme Court case that overturned Proposition 8, California's ban on same-sex marriage, which premiered at the Sundance film festival to critical acclaim. The film is out today in limited release.
2. Lionsgate's new drama Burning Blue tells the story of two male Navy fighter pilots' secret relationship under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," who find their careers at stake when a military investigation digs into a series of fatal accidents in their squadron, and threatens to expose them. Burning Blue is also out in limited release and available on iTunes today.
3. Roland Emmerich's upcoming film Stonewall has added Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Ron Perlman to its cast, which already features Jeremy 
Irvine in the lead. Stonewall is set during the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City, and tells the story of Danny Winters (Irvine), a homeless gay teen in NY who finds acceptance at the Stonewall Inn. The independent film just recently started production, and Emmerich spoke with Entertainment Weekly about what he hopes to achieve with it.
4. Before You Know It is a documentary that details the lives of three out gay senior citizens, Dennis, Ty and Robert as they navigate life and love in their later years. Born before the Civil Rights era, these men have witnessed unbelievable change over the course of their lifetimes. Find a screening near you.
5. The new documentary Breaking Through, by Cindy L. Abel, features a variety of openly LGBT elected officials in the U.S. sharing their personal stories in a series of interviews. You can read our longer take on the film here, and look for Breaking Through now DVD and VOD.
6. Tony award winning gay-themed play, The Nance, will screen at more than 300 movie theatres across the U.S. beginning June 23. The comic play takes 
place in 1930s New York, where the mayor has started cracking down on gay "deviants." Tony award winner Nathan Lane stars as Chauncey Miles, a flamboyant performer. Find a screening of The Nance near you.
7. Speaking of Nathan Lane, actress Megan Mullally announced on Late Night With Seth Meyers that she will star with Lane and fellow Tony winner Matthew Broderick in the upcoming Broadway comedy, It’s Only a Play, written by Terrence McNally. The show will be directed by Jack O'Brien.
8. Bisexual pop singer Sia has released a new single "Eye of the Needle," from her new album 1000 Forms of Fear, out July 8. 1000 Forms of Fear is available for pre-order on iTunes now, check out "Eye of the Needle" below.
9. The short film Double Date explores the complexities and dichotomy of bisexuality while also telling a story about relationships. The film is currently raising production funds on Indiegogo. You can learn more about the film and donate here.
