Late yesterday, Edgars Rinkēvičs, the Latvian foreign minister, tweeted his coming out to the world.

Since then, he received the usual mix of responses -- some congratulations, and some condemning his announcement, in various languages.
Russian LGBT advocate, Oleg Jelezniakov, has compiled some of the congratulations tweets and shared them with GLAAD.
The most prominent was from Toomas Henrik Ilves - President of Estonia since 2006.
