GRAMMY nominations for out artists including Sam Smith, Brandy Clark and more!

The nominees for the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards rolled out today and included nominations for several LGBT performers. Nominees for the final category, Album of the Year, will be announced as part of tonight's special "A Very GRAMMY Christmas" concert on CBS at 9pm which will include a performance by out singer Sam Smith. The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, February 8 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Out British singer Sam Smith has picked up five nominations, including Record of the Year for his hit single "Stay With Me," Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year and Best New Artist. Also nominated in Best New Artist is out country singer Brandy Clark who co-wrote the Kacey Musgraves LGBT-inclusive hit "Follow Your Arrow." Clark's album 12 Stories is nominated in Best Country Album.

Bisexual singer Sia picked up four nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Music Video. Lady Gaga is nominated in Best Traditional Pop for her collaborative album Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett and St. Vincent scored a nod in Best Alternative Music Album for her self-titled release. A Great Big World, which includes out singer/songwriter Chad Vaccarino, picked up a nomination in Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song "Say Something" with Christina Aguilera.

John Waters is nominated in Spoken Word Album for his memoir Carsick: John Waters Hitchhikes Across America. The Original Broadway Cast recording of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, starring Neil Patrick Harris, picked up a nomination in Best Musical Theater Album. Also nominated in this category is the concert special Cheyenne Jackson & Alexandra Silber with the San Francisco Symphony. Tegan and Sara's The Lego Movie track "Everything is Awesome!!!" scored a nod in Best Song Written for Visual Media. Pentatonix Daft Punk medley is nominated in Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella.

Arcade Fire's "We Exist," about a son coming out to his father as gay and which featured The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield playing a trans woman, picked up a nomination in the Music Video category.

Don't miss tonight's "A Very GRAMMY Christmas" on CBS at 9pm for the Album of the Year nominees, the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air live on CBS Sunday, February 8.
