The GLAAD Wrap: 'Life Partners' in theaters; new music from Michelle Chamuel, Frank Ocean; and more!

Every week, The GLAAD Wrap brings you LGBT-related entertainment news highlights, fresh stuff to watch out for, and fun diversions to help you kick off the weekend.

1.)Life Partners hits theaters today across the country. The film follows closer-than-close best friends Sasha (gay) and Paige (straight) and what happens when Paige gets a boyfriend and Sasha begins to feel left out. Life Partners is also available now through iTunes and other video on demand services, check out the trailer below.

2.)The Foxy Merkins opens in New York this weekend and will be available through on demand services in January. The Foxy Merkins follows two friends as they attempt to navigate the world of lesbian prostitution, and director Madeleine Olnek spoke with GLAAD earlier this year. Check out the trailer below.

3.) Documentary She's Beautiful When She's Angry is out in New York now and will open in Los Angeles next week before rolling out to additional cities. The film looks at the history of the feminist movement from 1966 to 1971, the founding of the group NOW (National Organization for Women), the intersections with race, and how lesbians found a place in the movement. It also features interviews from top figures at the time including Karla Jay, Kate Millet and Rita Mae Brown. Watch the trailer below.

4.)Buzzfeed is reporting that Haddie Braverman will return to Parenthood for the series finale. Haddie was last seen at the end of the previous season when she returned home from Cornell and brought along her friend Lauren, who we would later find out is her girlfriend. Parenthood will return for its final season on NBC January 8th at 10pm.

5.)Ellen DeGeneres is teaming up with Liz Tuccillo and NBC to produce the half-hour comedy Kate On Laterstarring Lauren Graham. Kate On Later will center on the real world lack of a female host on a network late night show with Graham's character Kate working to break into the ranks.

6.) The trailer for the second season of HBO's hit Looking is out now! Season two of the San Francisco-based series following a group of gay best friends will see new loves, new choices, and more laughs and drama. Looking returns to HBO on January 11 at 10pm.

7.) Sara and Nyssa are set to return to Arrow this season, though it's not clear what form Sara's appearance will take. The last we saw of the former lovers, Sara had been murdered by poisoned darts and Nyssa was attempting to exact vengeance on her behalf. Arrow airs on the CW Wedsnesdays at 8pm.

8.) Frank Ocean has a new song out called "Memrise." Ocean released his debut album channel ORANGE in 2012, shortly after publishing an open letter to his official blog which revealed that his first love was a man. Check out "Memrise" below.

9.) Out singer Michelle Chamuel has released the new single "Lottery" from her upcoming album Face the Fire. The singer and songwriter has been performing under the name Reverb Junkie in the indie world since her second place finish on season 4 of The Voice, but this will be her first album under her own name. Check out "Lottery" below and find a show near you.

10.) British musician Jessie Ware's new music video features two same-sex couples among the friends and fans she invited to make the video. The song, "You & I (Forever)," is an ode to love and life-long companionship. Check it out below.

11.) The musical duo Night Terrors of 1927's new single "When You Were Mine" and accompanying music video featuring out sibling duo Tegan and Sara came out this week. Check out the contemporary dance filled video below, the track will be on Night Terror's debut album Everything's Coming Up Roses out January 20. Tegan and Sara fans can also pre-order the So Jealous 10th anniversary book, out December 23.
