CNBC, NBC's business news channel, went purple all day long yesterday to support LGBT youth as part of GLAAD's annual campaign to stand against bullying. This is the fifth year in a row that CNBC has participated.

As part of the station's outpouring of affirmation, the iconic peacock logo went purple during CNBC's Business Day and Primetime programming and online at CNBC.com. Members of the CNBC team got involved worldwide, as well.

Check it all out below, starting with Squawk Box Asia's anchors, Susan Li and Bernie Lo, wearing purple on CNBC world:

You can see even more of the seemingly countless ways that NBCUniversal created a global sea of purple by checking out its Spirit Day storify.

NBC's business channel was joined by MSNBC, NBC, and NBC local affiliates, including morning shows like Today, Morning Joe, Squawk Box, and more. Comcast and NBC Universal, as official partners of GLAAD's Spirit Day, sent a message of support to LGBT youth around the world. Many of the company's networks and stars, including some from USA, Syfy, Bravo and Oxygen took a stand against bullying for Spirit Day this year.

Spirit Day, which took place on October 16, inspires millions to wear purple or "go purple" online in a united stand against bullying and to show their support for LGBT youth. Each year, Spirit Day draws the participation of celebrities, corporations, media outlets, sports leagues, schools, faith institutions, national landmarks, and individuals. Spirit Day is made possible by the generous support of its national partners PepsiCo and Wells Fargo, as well as official partners Comcast-NBCUniversal and Google, and supporting partner American Eagle Outfitters.
