PFLAG and USA Network partnered for Tuesday's all new Royal Pains episode where trans teen Nicole Maines will make her acting debut. As part of the partnership, a special PSA starring the series' lead Mark Feuerstein will air during the episode. Maines, a 17-year old senior high school student, made history in January 2014 by winning a landmark case when for the first time in the U.S., a court ruled it unlawful and a violation of human rights to prevent transgender students from using the bathroom of the gender with which they identify. This season's housemates include the series' first transgender cast member, digital media consultant Audrey Middleton, who will be sharing her story in the first episodes.
